GRAMMELOT

YESTERDAY THE FOURTH also happened to be my tenth anniversary as an American. I was among the batch of new citizens sworn in on the first Independence Day after 9/11. The first thing I did as a citizen was to register as a Democrat, but I have become an Independent since. These pics were taken from Gina’s midtown apartment. It was hard to tell which was more fascinating, the fireworks or the people power 33 stories below. There’s also an accidental shot (left the slow shutter app on by mistake) which kind of looks like an impressionist painting, and which is the pic I like best.
